DANEK joined Albion in January 2008 on loan from Viktoria Plzen for the rest of the season to provide competition for Dean Kiely.
Tony Mowbray firmed up his interest in the Czech keeper after seeing him at close quarters during a short training spell at the club earlier in the same month.
As part of the Danek deal, Albion will have the options to either extend his loan for a further six months, or sign him on a permanent basis, in the summer.
If the club opt to extend Danek's loan, they will again have an option to buy him in January.
