PICK A NUMBER: Jack Compton
HAVE you got a head for figures?
Well, in our weekly feature for the 2007/08 season, we find out whether the Albion players and coaching staff have.
Every Tuesday, a member of the Baggies camp will randomly pick 15 questions to answer from a colourful selection of 40 puzzlers.
We will then put them under the spotlight.
Today, we quiz young pro Jack Compton.
Q22: What did you have for breakfast this morning?
JC: Egg and beans on toast. It is pretty much what I have every morning for breakfast. You can't beat it!
Q2: What is your favourite ice-cream?
JC: Just standard strawberry, although I really like strawberry Cornettos.
Q4: Who is the best trainer in the Albion camp?
JC: Paul Robinson, without a doubt. He trains just as he plays.
Q8: What has been your most embarrassing moment?
JC: There have been a few, actually! Probably one of the worst was when I was little. I was a mascot for Torquay United at about seven. I ran out on to the pitch and just fell flat on my face in front of the whole crowd. I was so embarrassed!
Q34: Use three words to describe you as a character?
JC: Forgetful, lively and fun!
Q30: When was the last time you used public transport?
JC: Yesterday, when I got the bus home from training. I don't drive yet so I am still using it quite a bit!
Q20: What would your superpower be?
JC: Definitely invisibility. I could just go anywhere I like and no-one would know where I was. I bet I could find out a lot of secrets that way. I'd also find out what the lads really thought of me!
Q24: What was the last music concert you went to?
JC: It was Robbie Williams at the Millennium Stadium with my mum and dad about four years ago. I was around 15 then. My mom is a really big Robbie fan so we took her for her birthday. It was a brilliant night and so entertaining. No-one sat down, everyone was just standing up and dancing.
Q17: Which team did you support as a boy?
JC: Manchester United - and I still do. I always look out for their results want them to do well. I have only ever been to one United match, when I was about 13. My dad took me to Old Trafford. I became a United fan because of David Beckham. He is one of my heroes.
Q10: Who did you have a schoolboy crush on?
JC: Geri Haliwell. We all liked her at school when the Spice Girls were big. There was something about her we all really liked - probably the feistiness!
Q7: What was the last album you downloaded to your ipod?
JC: It was 'Back of M Lac' by the R 'n' B singer J Holiday. It's really good.
Q14: What is your favourite other sport?
JC: Golf - not that I can play it very well! But I enjoy going down the golf range. Hopefully, I will get better.
Q23: What keeps you awake at night?
JC: My new PS3. I could play on that all night! Other than that, I sleep quite well.
Q29: What is your favourite item of clothing?
JC: A couple of pairs of G-Star jeans.
Q19: What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
JC: 'American Gangster' around Christmas time. It's a brilliant film and I've just bought it on DVD.
