HAVE you got a head for figures?

Well, in our weekly feature we find out whether the Albion players and coaching staff have.

Every Tuesday, a member of Tony Mowbray's camp will randomly pick 15 questions to answer from a colourful selection of 40 puzzlers.

Today, we quiz Albion defender Leon Barnett.

Q8. What has been your most embarrassing moment?

LB: Turning up late to training when I had just started here, with all the boys seeing me and laughing! I was 30 minutes late so I got quite a big fine.

Q4. Who is the best trainer in the Albion camp?

LB: I'd have to say Dean Kiely. He pulls off good saves during games and trains well too. Dean also has really good banter.

Q10. Who did you have a schoolboy crush on?

LB: Beyonce when she was in Destiny's Child. She was my favourite. I think she is quite pretty. I haven't seen her in concert but I would like to. I bet she puts on a good show.

Q31. Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?

LB: I would have to choose Pele. Not the one at this club (!), but the one from Brazil. He is a legend. Music-wise, I would choose Tupac. I am a big fan of his. Finally, I would invite Thierry Henry, mainly because I am a massive Arsenal fan. He did wonders for them when he was at the club.

Q20. What would your superpower be?

LB: This is a difficult one! I think most people would say being able to fly. But I think I'm going to choose being able to read minds. I'd like to know what everyone is thinking. Although it's not really a superpower, I would also like to be good at everything!

Q1. If you could buy a ticket to any event in the world, what would it be?

LB: I think I would want to go to a boxing match, maybe to see Ricky Hatton against Floyd Mayweather. That's going to be a great fight. I'd also want the fight in Vegas with all the big lights! I would have said tickets to a World Cup final, but I think that would be too much football for me. I probably shouldn't say it but I can't handle watching too much football!

Q18. What song would you choose if ordered to take part in karaoke?

LB: There are not many songs that I know all the lyrics to. But if the words were up on the screen, I might choose 'Say My Name' by Destiny's Child. It's not the best choice but that's the only one I can think of right now after the Beyonce answer!

Q6. What was your favourite childhood game/toy?

LB: I didn't have many games. But I was a big fan of fast cars when I was younger. I liked playing with my remote control cars. I'm not interested in cars at all now though. It's not really a toy but I liked collecting football figurines of my favourite players, the ones that look a bit like Subbuteo figures.

Q38. Would you like to be a manager one day?

LB: I wouldn't say a manager because, nowadays, I think there is too much stress and pressure. When I have finished playing football, I wouldn't mind having a go at commentating, especially with Ian Wright, who is my hero. I heard you have to do a course to become a commentator, which I think would be quite interesting!

Q30. When was the last time you used public transport?

LB: It was this summer when I took a train to Oxford Street in London to do a bit of shopping. It was really busy though and quite expensive compared to driving yourself down, but at least I didn't have to sit in all the congestion!

Q13. Who was your first-ever 11-a-side football match for and in what position?

LB: My first game was for Bushmead Wanderers, which is a local team where I grew up. I was 13 and, you might not believe it, but I played right-wing! I remember feeling a bit nervous in case I got injured because all the other lads were a year older than me. But I was excited to be playing for a football team. I played in quite a few other positions with them, including central-midfield and up front, before they dropped me all the way back to centre-back.

Q14. What is your favourite other sport?

LB: I'm a massive rugby fan. But I wouldn't say that is my favourite other sport. I quite like basketball from when we were made to play it at school. It's becoming a big sport over here now, but especially in America. I always look out for the LA Lakers' score.

Q33. What is your favourite computer game?

LB: Quite a few boys at Luton and here like playing Pro Evolution Soccer. But it hasn't come out on PlayStation 3 yet. At the moment, I've only got two games, which are Sonic and PGA golf, so I'm playing golf most of the time. When Pro Evo does come out for the PlayStation 3, I think that will be the best game to play.

Q40. If you were cooking to impress, what dish would you select?

LB: I watch 'Ready, Steady, Cook' for tips, but there are no meals on there that have a name as they just mix and match. I'd try to cook something posh, maybe sea bass, with a bit of salad and rice on the side. I'd do a nice dessert as well. I don't think I would cook it well, but I'd have a go!

Q11. Tell us a joke

LB: I used to tell the following joke at school but it's awful! What do you call a dog that's hot? A hot dog! Terrible isn't it! And my back-up joke? Here goes:

LB: Knock, knock.

wba.co.uk: Who's there?

LB: Doctor

wba.co.uk: Doctor Who?

LB: That's it. Doctor Who! I can't believe you fell for that. The old ones are the best!
