KEVIN Phillips has added yet another top prize to his growing list of accolades this term.

The Baggies hotshot finished the season as the No.1 striker in the 2007/08 Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship.

And he finished the campaign as the runner-up in the overall player rankings.

The Baggies ace smashed 22 league goals to help the Baggies clinch the Championship title and also earn him 656 Index points, trailing Stoke's Liam Lawrence by just 31 points.

It was harsh on the former England hitman, who averaged 19 points per game - two more than Lawrence - but played six fewer games than his rival.

Phillips' best score of the season was a 50-point haul thanks to his deadly double in the 4-1 Boxing Day win over promotion rivals Bristol City.

Team-mate Paul Robinson was also an Actim hero this term, finishing the season in fourth place overall and ranked as the best defender in the league, just 32 points behind Phillips.

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player's contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
