Mowbray hoping for Moore impact
TONY Mowbray is hoping Luke Moore can make an impact in Albion's six-game Championship run-in after being forced to watch from the sidelines for the last four games.
The on-loan striker has not played since collecting a three-match ban for his red card in the 4-1 defeat by Leicester more than three weeks ago.
To prolong his agony, he was cup-tied for Saturday's semi-final with Portsmouth at Wembley.
But Moore is available for selection against Blackpool tonight (ko 7.45pm).
"Luke's back in contention," said Mowbray.
"He's been training hard over the last few weeks.
"Let's hope he's got a goalscoring part to play over the next month.
"From my perspective, he's got nothing to prove.
"But I hope he can work hard and score goals from his perspective.
"I'm hopeful he can contribute in some way through a period where we'll definitely need him.
"I hope that, if he gets an opportunity to play, he comes alive for us and does what he's best at - scoring goals."
