CUP hero Clive 'Chippy' Clark will be one of the many guests at West Bromwich Albion Former Players' Association's 1968 FA Cup 40th Anniversary Dinner on Friday, May 16.

The event will take place in The Hawthorns' Richardson Suite, with all the surviving members of the side that beat Everton at Wembley in attendance.

Graham Lovett is set to fly in from Thailand, John Talbut from Belgium and Dennis Clarke from Spain.

Tickets are available at £35 each and tables of up to ten can be booked.

Peter McGovern will be acting as compere and Adrian Chiles and Frank Skinner are both hoping to be there depending on their schedules.

Annual Golf Day

WBAFPA will be holding their Annual Golf Day at Walsall Golf Club on Monday, June 30.

The day is being sponsored by Con Cunningham of CP Plant Ltd.

The price is £350.00 and this is for a team of four, including either a selected or nominated former player.

Those former players who regularly attend include Ray Wilson, Graham Williams, Brendon Batson, Joe Mayo, Don Goodman, John Kaye and Bobby Hope, to name but a few.
