LUKE Daniels has joined fourth-placed SPL outfit Motherwell on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper, who penned a new two-year Hawthorns deal last May, has yet to make a senior appearance for the Baggies.

Daniels has been restricted to just three reserve-team games this term - in large part due to a major groin operation.

The former England Under-18 shot-stopper spent most of the second-half of last season on the bench, playing understudy to Dean Kiely.

The closest he has come to a first-team appearance during this campaign was as an unused sub in October's 3-2 defeat at Southampton.
