Daniels signs new deal
LUKE Daniels has given Albion an early boost ahead of next Monday's play-off final (ko 3pm) by signing a new two-year deal, with a further year's option in the club's favour.
The 19-year-old keeper put pen to paper on his first professional contract last summer and is currently No.2 to Dean Kiely.
Daniels, who is part of the England Under-19s squad, has spent 18 of the Baggies' last 22 games on the bench.
Albion boss Tony Mowbray said: "Luke is a young goalkeeper who has got a bright future.
"He has worked very hard under the guidance of Joe Corrigan this year and has made real progress.
"This new contract is a reward for all his efforts."
Daniels joined the Baggies in 2004 after being released by Manchester United, where he spent seven years.
