HOEF THE CUFF: Fingers crossed
I'VE got my fingers crossed and think I have got a decent chance of playing against Leicester.
My hamstring injury is getting better and I'm going to try training today.
To be honest, I think I've just got to play and hope I'm ready to go.
It's been very frustrating not being able to play.
Missing Bristol Rovers wasn't too bad because it was an away game, so I just followed it on the television.
But when you sit in the stands at home games it is frustrating because you want to get on the pitch and I try to be involved with the team as much as I can.
Before the game I'll go to the dressing room and feel the atmosphere and the adrenalin, and then it is very hard not being able to contribute.
I end up yelling from the stands!
Our injury curse just doesn't seem to want to go away.
First Filipe is ruled out for the rest of the season and then two of our other wide players Chris Brunt and James Morrison pick up injuries in a matter of minutes in the same game against Crystal Palace.
It's a bit frustrating at the moment but it is now up to us to show how strong we are as a squad and not just the 11 players on the pitch.
It is going to be very interesting.
The other night Crystal Palace played at full capacity and it was very hard and frustrating game, particularly if you are in the stands as well.
It was great to see Kev get his 200th career league goal and he has now scored in his last three games.
He will be very important, as will every other player, from now until the end of the season.
But the one that puts the ball in the net is very important because that is a natural skill, and Kev is very good at what he does.
It is now up to everyone to pull together and put him in more positions to score goals.
That goes for Roman and Ish as well and all the other players that score goals.
It is up to the other players to put them in good positions so they can just finish off.
I think for all the little injuries and niggles we have it will be very good to have no midweek game next week.
After the Charlton game next Friday it will be very busy and that is when the promotion race will really start.
There will be six games left for the other teams and eight for us.
So, that will be very interesting.
Every week there will be a midweek game and then we have got the FA Cup as well, so it will be a very hard time.
I think playing Portsmouth in the cup semi-finals is a good challenge for us and it will be the first time we have played this year when we are not the favourites, so that is something else we have to accommodate.
But that is far from now and we have got four games in between and those games are massive games that we need to get points from.
All the other teams around us fancy their chances now as well so it is going to be hard.
We have to take each game as it comes, starting with Leicester tomorrow.
The league is more important than the FA Cup.
