IT'S been a good week on and off the field since I last spoke to you.

We produced a good comeback to beat an in-form Burnley side 2-1 and that came on the back of bringing in some new recruits to boost the squad.

Signing Ishmael Miller on a permanent basis shows how much ambition this club has got and that's what you want to see as a player.

New loan signing Kim Do-Heon trained two times with us but has had to go back to South Korea for an international match.

We can't expect too much too soon from him because he will need time to adapt to this country and this league.

I think the gaffer and the coaching staff will give him time to adapt.

He had great feet and I'm sure he'll fit in well to our squad.

We haven't seen that much of the new goalkeeper Danek yet but it's good for Dean Kiely to have competition.

People always say the strength of your bench shows how strong the team is.

But I don't think it's the best thing that Roman has been assigned by the manager to look after Michal.

He might send him the wrong way because he can't speak English and Roman's translations might not be exactly what we say!

As for Graeme Dorrans, he has got great feet and I've heard he can score goals.

He was a bit quiet when he was here training with us but he's got experience in the Scottish league and we can always use good players.

Ideally, we don't want too many more games like the Burnley one because it's not good for the heart.

We've got 16 league games left and they're all going to be hard because everyone wants to beat us.

We're ready for it and we're going to go for it.

I'm sure the Barnsley game on Saturday will be a lot like our last away game at Preston.

The Tykes are an up and down side.

They've had some great results against top teams and some horrible ones.

It's a hard place to go and I'm sure they'll be blasting and firing in the first 30 minutes.

The good thing is that we'll be backed by a massive away following again.

And it's great that the club has laid on 40 free coaches to help get our supporters up to Yorkshire.

We've had great support away from home this season.

Everyone is going for it and that helps make us mentally strong.

We're back at The Hawthorns again on Tuesday and the games don't get any easier as we take on Sheffield United.

The Blades have still got a lot of Premier League players.

Luton Shelton is doing really well up front for them at the moment and we'll have to watch him.

They still have a good chance of making the play-offs and they'll want to prove a point.
