Albion players brought some festive cheer to the Children's Ward on their annual visit to Sandwell Hospital. First-team squad members including Ishmael Miller, James Morrison, Pele, Martin Albrechtsen, Tininho and Sherjill MacDonald handed out presents to patients. The players, who joined forces with the club to buy the gifts, chatted to the poorly youngsters and their families and also posed for photographs and signed autographs. Key midfielder Morrison, now back in training after recovering from a knee injury, said: "It's always good to visit the hospitals over Christmas. This is a special time of year for children. I'm a big kid myself when it comes to Christmas and it was great to give presents to the patients and put smiles on their faces." It was the club's second hospital visit in a week after fellow senior players travelled to the Children's Ward at Russells Hall, Dudley, last Thursday. Special thanks to the Birmingham Post & Mail for the photos.
