McDougal makes England Euro squad
ENGLAND'S superstars may have failed to qualify for the European Championships.
But their visually impaired counterparts, including Albion ace John McDougal, have managed it and are competing in Turkey this week.
McDougal broke into the squad for December's Nations Cup and his consistent performances for the Baggies and England friendlies have earned him a place in his first major championships.
"It is an honour to put on an England shirt," he said.
"It is every players' dream to play for their country.
"And it has helped me develop as a player by being coached weekly at Albion.
"The profile of disability football is rising year on year and with more professional clubs developing different impairments teams it can only help raise the profile even more."
